Words and Music

The Crematorium places no restriction on how your time in the chapel is used and you should be free to suggest any prayers, readings, poetry and eulogies, in consultation with your officiant, if you have one, that you think will be most appropriate for the occasion.

Music can play an important part in the service and can mean so much to relatives and friends.

Organ Music

Both chapel’s have a professional organist available for all services, and perform from a wide repertoire of suitable pieces, classical or popular. A list of organ music is available from your chosen funeral director or can be obtained from the main crematorium office.

CD’s and Tapes

 The crematorium has a first class sound system for CD’s and cassettes, which is particularly suitable for the orchestral repertoire, major choral works and popular music of the day. Again the crematorium has a very large selection of classical and popular songs that are available.
